| Progressive Sealing
was started in 1980 to service the fluid sealing needs of the
major industries within Western Canada. The company was started
with one major line, that being the AW Chesterton Company out
of Stoneham, Mass. Chesterton is a major player in the fluid
sealing business worldwide. The Company distributed Chesterton
mechanical packings, mechanical seals, hydraulics, pump products,
and technical products such as corrosion and abrasion resistant
coatings throughout their territory. The Company started with
branches in Edmonton and Vancouver. A third branch was opened
in Bellingham, Washington, know as Progressive Technologies.
The territory that the Company now services is British Columbia,
Alberta, Saskatchewan, Oregon and Washington. The Company has
15 full time employees in technical sales and support staff.
